Where are you asking & getting answers to the real questions that will impact the rest of your life?
The classroom? Your friends? Google? We invite you during these 4 years (or more!) of college to connect with us at FBC Salem to get real answers to real questions, like:
What is the purpose of my life? What should I be?
Why is the world the way it is? Is there any hope for things getting better?
How can God be real if _______?
Is Jesus really who he said he was? Is the Bible reliable?
Is there a heaven?
These are just a few of the myriad of questions you’re asking, whether outwardly or in your soul. These are good questions that deserve great answers. At this church, we aim to provide space for you to ask these questions, get real answers, be allowed to doubt, and have a loving community who won’t judge you while you journey on.
The best place to start?
Come to our Sunday morning worship service at 10:30am. Here you’ll see how we worship, hear our teaching, see our inter-generational community, and get a feel for our culture. Here you’ll meet residents of Salem who can be your grandmas and aunts, brothers and uncles, and mentors and confidants for the next 4 years. You’ll probably get some free home cooked meals out of it too!
Is there a college small group?
Currently no, but it is our goal to have a specific space for a group of college students together. Connect with us and we’ll keep you updated! In the meantime, if you’re at Salem State, we encourage you to connect with the on-campus InterVarsity ministry, led by Mollie C. Click here to learn more.
I’m at Gordon College (or Endicott, Montserrat, etc.) and need a ride…
Great! We’d be happy to help arrange a ride to you. Reach out to Pastor Steven (865.323.4439; steven@firstbaptistchurchsalem.com) and he’ll help connect you with a ride to church.
